RedBee Machines is the brainchild of an Indian duo of Mechanical Engineers, Anuj Padival and Gautam Pereira. They set up RedBee in 2012, given the backing of over a hundred years of experience in coffee plantations. The goal is to ‘ENGINEER AGRICULTURE’ with machines that increase the productivity of man and machine alike.
The initial focus was on the Plantations Sector. The company designed and developed machines specifically to adapt to the contours of typical Indian coffee, tea, rubber, arecanut (and other) plantations. They also kept in mind the effect of the Indian Monsoon. The aim was to engineer machines that require only one man to operate; work in tough conditions, and are easy to maintain. The idea was to create a single platform that can facilitate multiple uses on the field and off it.
RedBee has achieved these goals. And now, the company has moved on to developing machines for other agricultural sectors.
Our USP: End-to-end Solutions, Crop and Topographic specific machines and after-sales service defines what RedBee Machines represent – a friendly user interface.
The first of our developments was the RedBee MUTV (Multi Utility Track Vehicle) with three modules that aid in load carrying, spraying and post-harvest drying yard activities like heaping, spreading and raking of coffee, pepper, arecanut and the like. We have patents pending for the same.
RedBee MUTV Modules are specially designed additional units that fit onto the same chassis of the RedBee MUTV. Each module suits different functions and agricultural practices. They can be added at any time, based on changing needs.
